Super Bowl 59 Props: Player, Team, and Game Prop Bets

The first wager added to my Super Bowl 2025 player props card is QB Jalen Hurts’ passing bet! This number appears a shade too short, so I will gladly take the value at Everygame for this player prop. Yes, the Eagles are going to lean heavily on RB Saquon Barkley and the running game. However, as I noted in our Super Bowl 59 preview, the Chiefs should do a far stronger job managing Barkley in this matchup than Washington did in the NFC Championship. The Chiefs are ninth against the run, yielding an average of 106.7 yards per game in the playoffs and regular season combined. Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will have this defense ready to stop the Eagles’ biggest strength. Hurts will be forced to throw the ball around the yard. Note that the KC secondary wasn’t as strong as they were against the run, allowing 220.6 yards allowed this year.

In the meantime, Hurts passed for 246 yards and a touchdown in the 55-23 win over the Commanders. The QB failed to eclipse 200 yards against the Packers and Rams, but the Eagles routinely had favorable field position throughout the game. Hurts over 209.5 passing yards is a sharp pick for your best prop bets for Super Bowl LIX!

WR Xavier Worthy has emerged as the marquee playmaker on the Kansas City offense. The 21-year-old rookie has a long and promising career ahead on the Chiefs. In his first year in the NFL, Worthy recorded 638 yards and eight touchdowns. The receiving numbers don’t jump off the page, but he’s developed massively from the start of the season. Worthy’s role in the offense has also ascended since then. The Texas Longhorns product had 15 targets in the offense through the first four games of the season.

Since Dec. 15, Worthy received 44 targets in five games! He hauled in 32 receptions for 320 yards, an average of 64 yards per game. Worthy is coming off a sensational performance against the Bills. The speedster finished with six receptions and 85 yards, including a touchdown in the 32-29 victory. The Eagles’ secondary is stout, but Worthy’s number is a bargain at 55.5 yards. With this in mind, consider including the over on your Super Bowl 59 props card.

The Chiefs can’t and won’t abandon the run against the Eagles. Their offense has been well-balanced between the pass and run. Also, the Eagles’ secondary isn’t going to allow QB Patrick Mahomes to gun the defense down every drive. Kansas City is at its best when the ground game is working to set up Mahomes. In short, RB Kareem Hunt will see a healthy workload in Super Bowl LIX.  He carried the ball 17 times for 64 yards and a touchdown against the Bills. Look for Hunt to see roughly 15 touches on Super Bowl Sunday.

The last two times Hunt had at least 11 carries, he rushed for a minimum of 55 yards. The Eagles are eighth in the league, with 104.4 yards against per game versus the run. They rank second with 184.9 passing yards, so again, the running game will have to get involved. Hunt has been seeing far more work than Chiefs’ RB Isiah Pacheco in the backfield. He is expected to be the No. 1 back for the Chiefs against the Eagles, so at 45.5 yards, the over is a good addition to your Super Bowl 59 player props!

Anytime Touchdown: (PHI) A.J. Brown (+160)

While the Chiefs will get Worthy and Hunt involved, the Eagles will attempt to get the ball to playmaker WR A.J. Brown. Brown had another standout year in Philadelphia. The 27-year-old native of Starkville, Mississippi, reeled in 67 receptions, 1,079 yards, and seven touchdowns. He concluded the regular season with scores in three straight games and the touchdowns continued in the playoffs! In the NFC Championship, Brown collected six receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. It’s the fourth score in his previous four matchups. As I noted with the Hurts prop, the Eagles will need to get their passing game going.

Targeting Brown is a surefire way to put the Eagles on the right track. Look for the No. 1 receiver to get into the end zone at the Caesar Superdome. Brown is a strong anytime touchdown wager that should be considered for your Super Bowl 2025 prop bets.

Both sides have offensive lines that receive plenty of recognition. The Eagles’ offense line is regarded as one of the top units in the NFL. However, neither has been particularly strong in pass protection. For all the accolades that Eagles’ offensive line gets, they have struggled when Hurts drops back to pass. The Eagles are the best in the business when it comes to run blocking, but they could improve in the passing game. Philadelphia has conceded 2.8 sacks per game, tied for 21st in the NFL with two other teams. Additionally, the Chiefs are only 17th, yielding an average of 2.4 sacks per contest. Combined, the Eagles and Chiefs have allowed 5.2 sacks per contest. On defense, the Chiefs and Eagles combined for five sacks a game. That is exactly the output generated in the postseason, with these clubs generating five sacks per game in five playoff games. The Eagles logged three sacks, while the Chiefs brought down Josh Allen twice behind the line. Kansas City went off for eight sacks by themselves against the Texans in the Divisional Round.

The way I see it, over 4.5 sacks should be among your Super Bowl 2025 props!

Longest Touchdown: Philadelphia Eagles (-130)

The Chiefs didn’t live on an explosive offense this season. Despite only losing two games en route to a 15-2 record, the Chiefs weren’t hitting the home run ball. They won due to long, methodical drives and clutch plays from Mahomes on third downs. It wasn’t a flashy offense that did quick damage like we were accustomed to with the Chiefs in past years. If you want quick strikes, you are more likely to find that with Barkley, Brown, or DeVonta Smith. It doesn’t mean I necessarily believe that the Eagles will win, but they can score six in a hurry.

Barkley is responsible for three of the four longest touchdowns in the playoffs this year! He scored from 78, 66, and 62 yards. The Chiefs should do a fine job of boggling up Barkley, but I don’t disregard his home run ability. Philadelphia has the best chance of a long play, so I’m adding this bet for my Super Bowl 59 props!

This appears like it will be a tight matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. It’s unlikely either team pulls away for a blowout. The safest bet is a tightly contested matchup at the Caesars Superdome. It’s hard to bet against Mahomes in a close game. He keeps finding ways to pull out clutch wins for the Chiefs. The Eagles know about it well, as the Chiefs defeated them by a score of 38-35 two years ago. I’m not betting against Mahomes in a game that should go down to the wire.

Even when Kansas City wasn’t at their best this season, they were still winning games. Heading into Super Bowl 59, the Chiefs are firing on all cylinders and are in healthier shape than they were early in the year. I pick the Chiefs to win by a field goal, so a one to six-point win at +250 is a solid Super Bowl 59 prop!

Coin Toss: Tails (+100)

The best strategy for betting on the coin toss is to find a sportsbook that has as close to even odds as possible. Fortunately, Everygame is offering even odds, which are difficult to find at betting sites! That’s the true odds, representing the exact 50% chance of heads or tails winning. The random nature of the bet makes it unpredictable, but even odds make it better than any wager on the casino floor. For my pick, tails never fails, right? Well, I backed heads last year and it resulted in a win, so tails never fails isn’t the best plan for attacking this Super Bowl prop bet.

Nevertheless, I’m betting on tails to get the win in 2025. The Super Bowl coin has landed on heads in three of the last four games. Tails dominated from Super Bowl XLVIII to Super Bowl LIV, with six wins in seven years! After heads recently picked up momentum, let’s opt for tails on the Super Bowl 59 coin toss!

Highest Scoring Half: Second (-110)

The highest scoring half in the Super Bowl prop bet is another value that can be found at Everygame. I anticipate that both offenses won’t get off to the quickest of starts, so the second is likely the higher-scoring half. Look for the Chiefs and Eagles to feel each other out in the opening stretch of this matchup. Fireworks should develop, but I expect most of them to happen following the halftime show. The Eagles are the second-highest scoring team in the second half team in the NFL. They’ve notched 15.4 points per game as opposed to 13.1 in the opening half. Kansas City scored three fewer points in the second than in the first. However, the 25.3 points per second half between the Chiefs and Eagles beats 23 first-half points. Aside from statistics, I don’t expect a fast start, so the second half for the highest-scoring half is among my best Super Bowl 2025 prop bets!
