Here are the 2025 Survivor odds, courtesy of BetOnline, after the third episode:
CASTAWAY | ODDS |
---|---|
Joe Hunter | +180 |
Eva Erickson | +200 |
Shauhin Davari | +650 |

Kamilla Karthigesu | +1000 |
Mitch Guerra | +1200 |
Thomas Krottinger | +1400 |
Mary Zheng | +1400 |
David Kinne | +1600 |
Joe Hunter (+180) remains the betting favorite to win Survivor Season 48 following Episode 3 at the best Survivor betting sites! After opening as a +1000 longshot, Joe’s odds have skyrocketed to the top of the board. He entered last week as a +250 favorite and is now down to +180.
In short, Joe has a 35.7% implied probability of winning this season of Survivor. This represents a huge improvement for the 45-year-old fire captain from Sacramento. Joe’s preseason odds of +1000 represented just a 9.1% probability of winning the game in Fiji.
Per the latest Survivor 48 odds, Joe’s confidant, Eva Erickson (+200), follows closely behind him. Eva, who is in a two-player alliance with Joe, immediately formed a team with him in the first episode. It’s a formidable team, and oddsmakers seem to believe they’re the castaways to beat.
Currently, Eva has a 33.3% implied chance to win, which is an improvement from 25% last week. Shauhin Davari (+650) retains the third-shortest Survivor winner odds, but regressed from +500 to +650 this week.

Survivor 48 Predictions and Betting Pick After Episode 3
The hits keep coming for the Vula Tribe in Fiji! Three episodes in and Vula is already down three castaways. It was clear from the get-go that they were going to have a difficult time in immunity challenges.
Producers seemingly punished this tribe from the start, as they looked completely outclassed in the athleticism department before even playing in a challenge. Kevin Leung, Vula’s most physically gifted tribemate, suffered a dislocated shoulder on the first challenge of Survivor 48.
In the latest episode of Survivor, Justin Pioppi was sent packing after Vula came up short once again in the immunity challenge. It was one of the longest tribal councils of all time, which included a successful “Shot in the Dark” used by Mary Zheng. Funnily enough, Mary criticized the advantage before filming for this season started.
Mary became only the second contestant in Survivor history to be saved by the last-ditch tool. With a one-in-six chance of success, Mary is the luckiest player so far this season! Justin was unfortunately on the short end of the stick at the wild tribal council.
Meanwhile, the Lagi Tribe continues to build chemistry and work together strongly. Joe has the whole tribe wrapped around his finger. In an alliance with Eva and the “California Girls” alliance, he has all bases covered as we approach the fourth week of Survivor 48.
There will undoubtedly be drama later on, and Joe will have to stab Shauhin or Thomas Krottinger in the back. In any event, Joe is the most dangerous castaway and remains my top Survivor winner pick! He has a little bit of everything, including a strong social and physical threat that makes him the one to beat.
After betting on Joe at +1000 in the preseason, and then +250 odds last week, he remains a solid choice to win at +180!
Survivor 48 Tribes and Contestants
Survivor 48 consists of the Civa, Lagi, and Vula Tribe. Now, let’s learn more about the three tribes and castaways on each side.
But, first, when does Survivor start? On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Survivor 48 debuts at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.
Lagi Tribe
Lagi features a few contenders that could win the game in Fiji. According to the latest 2025 Survivor betting odds at BetUS, Star Toomey, Thomas Krottinger, and Hunter should be in the mix.

Civa Tribe
Guerra is on Civa, so they have the pre-game betting favorite to win Survivor 48! Whether this results in winning the game remains to be seen, but Guerra should be a weapon for the Civa Tribe. Kimma Karthigesu is also worth watching out for this season.

Vula Tribe
Berger is expected to be the powerhouse of the Vula Tribe. With the second-shortest odds to win Survivor 48, the betting markets are expecting positives from her. Additionally, Saiounia Hughley, Kevin Leung, and Mary Zheng are among the favorites, so this should be a formidable tribe.
