Eurovision 2025 Winner Odds
The following betting odds for Eurovision are courtesy of Bovada:
COUNTRY | ODDS |
---|---|
Sweden | +325 |
France | +400 |
Finland | +750 |
Israel | +1000 |
Netherlands | +1000 |
Estonia | +1100 |
Austria | +1200 |
Belgium | +1200 |
Ukraine | +1200 |
Czechia | +1400 |
Malta | +1500 |
Sweden (+325) remains the betting favorite to win Eurovision 2025. The Swedes hold a leading 23.5% implied chance to win, which is an improvement from +600 and 14.3% when the markets opened at entertainment betting sites last year.
Along with Sweden’s big upswing, France’s (+400) Eurovision odds are on the move, too. France has shifted from +1500 to +400 in a huge shift in favor of Louane. This represents a change from 6.3% to 20% over the last few months.
Another country on the rise is Finland at +750. The Finns weren’t even in the conversation when the markets opened but are now regarded as the third likeliest winner. Currently, Finland possesses an 11.8% implied probability.
Meanwhile, Israel’s (+1000), Ukraine’s (+1200), and Ireland’s (+3500) odds to win Eurovision have all slipped. Ireland has regressed the most, as they were previously +1000. Also, Ukraine dropped from the second-shortest price to the ninth!

Past Eurovision Song Contest Winners
In 2023, Loreen was the odds-on favorite to win Eurovision 2023 from the initial stages. She stood above the rest for her song “Tattoo”. There were no discernible weaknesses in her performance. Loreen beat the field as the favorite, but in 2024, Nemo shocked Europe to win with “The Code”.
Since 2012, Sweden has won the Euro Song Contest thrice, the most during that period. Ukraine has an opportunity to join Sweden with three Eurovision titles within the last ten years.
The country won Eurovision in 2016, 2022 and is on the cusp of grabbing another victory as one of the favorites in 2025. Let’s look back at the last ten years of Eurovision Song Contest winners since 2015:
YEAR | ARTIST/SONG | COUNTRY |
---|---|---|
2024 | Nemo “The Code” | Switzerland |
2023 | Loreen “Tattoo” | Sweden |
2022 | Kalush Orchestra “Stefania” | Ukraine |
2021 | Maneskin “Zitti e buoni” | Italy |
2020 | Canceled | Canceled |
2019 | Duncan Laurence “Arcade” | Netherlands |
2018 | Netta “Toy” | Israel |
2017 | Salvador Sobral “Amar Pelos Dois” | Portugal |
2016 | Jamala “1944” | Ukraine |
2015 | Mans Zelmerlow “Heroes” | Sweden |
Eurovision 2025 Betting Favorites
Before delving into our top 2025 Eurovision picks, let’s analyze the top three favorites. Note that we will provide updates on the Eurovision odds as soon as performers for each country are released.
Sweden (+325)
Since Abba’s win at Eurovision 1974, the Swedes have consistently pumped out talent to send to the singing competition. In 2023, Sweden won their seventh Eurovision title to tie Ireland for the most all-time.
Sweden’s representative, Loreen, was a heavy favorite to win, and cleared the competition in the Grand Final. It was the second win for Loreen after she captured the award in 2012, too. Sweden has won three titles over the last 12 years, including in 2015 with Heroes by Mans Zelmerlow.
Comedy musical act, KAJ, will be representing Sweden after winning the selection contest. The trio edged out Mans Zelmerlow in a shocker KAJ is performing their song “Bara Bara Bastu” for Eurovision 2025. In the same light as Baby Lasana, this is a “joke” act that just works with the public.
They don’t take them too seriously and probably didn’t expect to go this far but now have the best odds of winning Eurovision! The song has gotten so popular that it was recently No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Global Viral Chart.
I foresee Sweden doing incredibly well in the televote. They’re already attracting a large fanbase and the votes should be plentiful from viewers watching at home.
It’s worth noting that the three members of the group are Finnish, so they’ll get the vote from their Scandinavian neighbors. However, will “Bara Bara Batsu” resonate with the jury? There is a chance it catches on.
France (+400)
Team France has flown up the board and is a hot option to win Eurovision 2025. France has won Eurovision five times but hasn’t captured the title since 1977! Perhaps it’s finally time for the French side to bring home the Eurovision crown again?
The onus falls on Louane, who is likely to be a big fan favorite. The 28-year-old star was selected internally by the French committee, so she didn’t get here by beating any competition. That being said, Louane is well-known in France and a safe choice.
According to Spotify, Louane has roughly 2.5 million listeners and has 1.64 million subscribers on YouTube. In other words, a lack of experience and stage presence is not going to be an issue for Louane at all. She is a well-polished performer, and the stage at Basel 2025 won’t be too big for her.
The only issue right now with Louane is that France hasn’t released her song yet. She is best known for soft ballads and sad love songs. How is that going to translate to casual viewers on the televote? I believe an emotional performance, which she excels at, will do the trick.
Also, she has a large fanbase of young fans, who will undoubtedly give her a boost. I’m confident that the jury will be excited about Louana as well, so France has a big chance at +400!
Finland (+750)
Three Scandinavian nations are in the top 3 for Eurovision betting in 2025. If you want to include Team Sweden being represented by Finns, then Finland is well-represented in Basel.
Finland’s entry will be represented by pop artist and songwriter Erika Vikman. She doesn’t have the huge following of Louane, but she’s a high-energy artist who will excel when it comes to staging.
That being said, she’s being warned to tone back on the sexual undertones in her performance. Officials from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) are urging her to change her number due to “excessive sexuality”.
That might force her to change her approach but is undoubtedly going to get the attention of viewers. That should translate to some love in the televote. However, it’s hard to say if she can resonate and connect with the crowd as far as Louane can.
The 32-year-old Vikman has around 919,100 monthly listeners on Spotify, which isn’t half of Louane. She has a following in Finland, especially after winning the 2016 Tangomarkkinat competition. However, I see her facing an uphill battle versus some of her rivals at Eurovision 2025.
As one of my original longshot Eurovision predictions, I backed Finland at +2000 before Vikman was named as their act. At +750, however, there isn’t nearly as much value on Finland winning Eurovision 2025.
Best Eurovision 2025 Longshot Bets
In addition to the favorites, there are a couple of underdogs worth keeping in mind for your Eurovision 2025 predictions and picks. These two selections include a ton of betting value, so we suggest considering them for your best Eurovision bets at great odds:
Eurovision 2025 Predictions and Betting Pick
Sweden remains the top team to beat at +325. However, France is a force to be reckoned with after Louane was named as their act. Similar to Loreen for Sweden in 2023, she had a huge following in Europe, and the votes followed in the televote.
Although Louane may not find it as simple as Loreen did, she is going to see a huge surge of young fans vote for her. Louane has the largest fanbase of any act in Basel. Additionally, I’m confident that an emotional performance will connect heavily with casual Eurovision fans.
Expect Sweden to see early momentum and win the battle on social media, but France is likely to steal the show in the later rounds. The best value for your Eurovision betting picks is on France at +400!
