Expert ATP Predictions for Today, March 13

Here are our recommended bets for ATP tournaments that take place today.

Arthur Fils vs Daniil Medvedev: Medvedev 2-0 Sets (-105)

Daniil Medvedev may complain about the court surfaces at Indian Wells, but the venue suits him as he’s now won 13 of his past 15 matches here. This includes his last three this tournament where he’s won 6-2 6-2, advanced in a walkover and then demolished the 11th-ranked Tommy Paul 6-4 6-0.

The Russian only lost eight games all tournament and played only ten minutes of his second match before his opponent retired. As a result, Medvedev should be more than ready to face Arthur Fils, 21st in the ATP Rankings and playing in his first quarterfinals of an ATP Masters 1000 event.

Fils is an up-and-coming player who played in the Next Gen ATP Finals last year in the group stage. He’s 7-4 in 2025 but hasn’t played any top-ranked players. His last two rounds have seen him defeat Lorenzo Musetti (16th) who is just 4-2 this year and Marcos Giron (48th). Both required three sets.

The two have only played once, in 2023 in Vienna where Medvedev won 6-4 6-2. The Russian has a 19-7 all-time record when playing at Indian Wells and is into his third straight quarterfinals at the event. He hasn’t been tested yet in this tournament and has a solid 11-5 record in 2025.

For our Indian Wells tennis predictions today, we’ll back him to dispatch Fils in straight sets.

The Bet
Medvedev 2-0 Sets

Free WTA Predictions for Today, March 13

And here are our WTA betting predictions for today.

Mirra Andreeva vs Elina Svitolina: Andreeva -4.5 Games (-111)

Elina Svitolina has advanced to her first WTA 1000 quarterfinals since 2021 after defeating Jessica Pegula 5-7 6-1 6-2 in the Round of 16. That bumps her 2025 record to 9-4 for the 23rd-ranked player. Oddly, she’s played all Americans so far, beating Ashlyn Krueger in three sets and Danielle Collins in two as well.

Reaching the quarterfinals equals her furthest progression at any event this year. Her opponent is 17-year-old upstart Mirra Andreeva who has soared to 11th in the rankings.

Andreeva is 16-3 on the year, and caught fire in Dubai last month. The Russian won all six matches while only dropping one set on her way to the title. Along the way she took out top players like Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina and the 21st-ranked Clara Tauson in the final.

That hot streak has continued at Indian Wells where she’s won 7-5 6-4, 6-3 6-0 and 6-1 6-2, while again beating the likes of Tauson and Rybakina.

Given the impeccable form Andreeva has been in since Dubai while riding a nine-match winning streak, we’re backing her to cover the 4.5 games in our tennis picks in the first-ever matchup between these two players.

The Bet
Andreeva -4.5 Games

Qinwen Zheng vs Iga Swiatek: Swiatek -5 Games (-130)

Both Qinwen Zheng and Iga Swiatek have reached the quarterfinals of Indian Wells without dropping a set.

For Zheng, it’s a welcomed uptick in form. She won her first match of 2025 at the Australian Open, but then lost her next and only three matches before entering Indian Wells. With three wins of 6-3 6-4, 6-4 7-5 and 6-3 6-2, she’s now 4-3 on the year.

Her opponent, defending Indian Wells champion Iga Swiatek is searching for her third title in this event. She’s been in fine form all season and is now 17-5 overall. On her way to the quarters in this tournament, she equalled a record set by Monica Seles back in 2002 by losing only six games before the quarterfinals.

Swiatek is still searching for her first title of 2025, but has reached the semis in Australia and Qatar and quarters in Dubai.

The Zheng vs Swiatek head-to-head history is nearly all in Swiatek’s favor. The Polish star owns a 6-1 lifetime record versus Zheng. However, Zheng’s one victory was in their most recent matchup at the Olympics where she won 6-2 7-5. Previously, Swiatek had won 6-3 6-2 and 6-2 6-3 last year as well.

Swiatek to cover 5.5 games is +100 odds at Bovada, one of our top recommended tennis betting apps for Indian Wells. Bovada offers multiple prop and alternate lines for making tennis bets and for some added safety you can also take an alternate game spread for Swiatek at -5. She’s been dominant in this tournament and has generally owned Zheng in this matchup.

The Bet
Swiatek -5 Games
